Alice in Wonderland Costume

Classic Alice in Wonderland
Based mostly on the Disney cartoon and partially on the original book illustrations.
I tried to mimic the shape of her apron by making the top of the skirt thin and only slightly gathered, then  flaring it out into that same shape.

In this image you can see she has some sort of locket or cameo. . . .

Just for fun.
Oh, and because we couldn't decide between a white or blue collar, I made the detachable collar reversible so she can choose.  Oh, yeah! It's all about the details! Yoink!

Petticoat Detail
Here you see that her skirt has pin-tucks.

Also, you might notice that the Disney Alice never appears to have pockets
until she puts her hands in them, so above you'll notice I've tried to make the pockets as subtle as possible.
In the cartoon her sash starts thin around the waist then widens into a nice full bow.

We liked the striped stockings from the second book so Hannah, my client, purchased some.  Her shoes are perfect as well.  Can't wait to post a picture here!
