With 20+ years of experience I can easily help with simple tasks such as replacement of buttons, hemming, or taking in a garment. I can also offer consultation about ways to alter existing costumes or put together creative costumes from existing clothing items.
Prices may vary depending on complexity of each individual project, but basic flat rates are as follows.
Single Button Replacement: $5 or Free with any other service!
Entire button replacement for a single piece: $10
Taking in of a simple garment, side seams only: $10
Re-stitching a popped seam $10-$20 (varies with complexity)
Hemming one pair of Trousers or Shorts: $20
Hemming a single Skirt: $20
Patching Holes: $20
Other Alterations such as converting a dress into a skirt or vice versa will start at $40.
